FLY FISHING
At Tralee Bay Holidays there is fly fishing available for rainbow trout on our own stocked loch on site. Booking in advance with the site office to ensure a spot on the loch, as bank access is limited.
We offer beginner lessons on the loch with Oban Angling Adventures (Obananglingadventures.com). If you are a seasoned angler but forgot your gear, not to worry! We also have a fleet of rental equipment to hire suitable for the lochs on site, and for exploring the hill lochs in the nearby area.
We also have a fully stocked box of flies that work well on our loch.
Beginner and Top-Up lessons start at £100 for a 2.5 hour session for 1 person with all equipment supplied (additional £20 per person). Oban Angling Adventures also offer fly, lure and bait fishing in the surrounding fresh and saltwater. Remember to mention Tralee Bay Holidays if you book directly!
SAUNA & WILD SWIMMING
Enjoy a rejuvenating session in one of our authentic Scandinavian barrel sauna’s perfect for detoxing and destressing. Turn up the heat, and book your hot seat in our pop up coastal sauna.‘The Snug ‘ can host up to 6 people in one session or ‘The Coorie In’ can host 10 people.
Book an individual seat (mixed sauna or book out the full barrel for a private group experience Sessions are 55 minutes long, over 18yrs to book. (Children between the age of 8yrs and 17yrs are not permitted to use the sauna unless they are accompanied by an Adult Family member. Parent or Guardian only)
PLAY PARK
For families visiting us with children under 12 years old, we offer an enjoyable play park right next to the beautiful Tralee Beach.
STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING
Discover the thrill of stand-up paddle boarding at Tralee Beach. Visit our reception to purchase your paddle boards and enjoy the serene waters. Experience adventure and relaxation in this stunning coastal setting.
WOODLAND WALK
Immerse yourself in nature with a stroll through our Woodland Walk forest. Breathe in fresh air, listen to birdsong, and enjoy the tranquillity of the lush, vibrant surroundings. Reconnect with the great outdoors.

Enjoy a beautiful and short stroll to Tralee Beach.
BRIANS FOOD TRUCK
We’re so proud to announce that for the 2026 Season we have both Brian’s and Little Brian’s Food and Coffee Trailers.
Brian’s Pizza tent can be found at the entrance to the holiday park, serving home made Neapolitan style pizza, fries, alcohol, soft drinks and ice cream.
Opening times: Sunday 12 – 8pm | Monday, Tuesday 4pm-8pm

At Tralee Bay Holidays, you will find Little Brian’s coffee & cake trailer located next to the sauna at the beach.
Opening times: Thursday to Saturday 10am – 5pm (weather dependant)
