• Schedule: 5 days per week, including weekend work
• Accommodation: Included, but doesn’t cover utilities (Accommodation for non working months can be discussed)
• Positions Available: 4 positions (2 couples)

Job Overview
As a Hot Tub Technician/Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of hot tubs and surrounding grounds at Tralee Bay Coastal Parks. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high standards of service. The position involves both technical and physical tasks to ensure our facilities remain in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Hot Tub Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing of hot tubs to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair minor hot tub issues, such as pump, heater, or jet malfunctions, and escalate complex issues to supervisors.
• Groundskeeping Duties: Maintain park grounds, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, clearing pathways, and ensuring communal areas are clean and tidy.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain tools and equipment used for hot tub and groundskeeping tasks.
• Guest Interaction: Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests, addressing inquiries or concerns related to hot tub use or park facilities.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure hot tubs and grounds meet regulatory and company standards.
• Reporting: Document maintenance activities, report issues, and communicate effectively with the maintenance team and management.

• Hardworking: A strong work ethic with the physical stamina to handle outdoor tasks and repetitive manual work in various weather conditions.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with hot tubs and groundskeeping equipment.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming environment for guests.
• Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and maintain schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hot tub maintenance, plumbing, or groundskeeping is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of water chemistry or mechanical systems is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.
• A valid UK driving licence is desirable.
• Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overtime as required.
